The fourteen posts in this week's traffic pull drew 3,666 visits. That is almost four times last week's 967. GitHub's HydraFusion preview took 2,155 of them, 59 percent of the week and four times the Gemini security post that finished second. The rest of the pack did not bunch. A Department of Energy quantum deadline, Larry Ellison leaving earnings calls, and OpenAI tying Astra to a danger score filled the next three slots. Dreamforce and a private fifth-generation network on a Minneapolis airfield sat at the floor.
I cannot split the HydraFusion traffic into product versus title from the view count alone. The live headline names GitHub, HydraFusion, Copilot, and a coding task that uses more than one model. Those are words people type. The product is a research preview inside Copilot CLI, not a new frontier model. Both things can be true at once.
The standout: HydraFusion inside Copilot
GitHub launches HydraFusion, a Copilot preview that routes one coding task across multiple AI models pulled 2,155 visits. GitHub put the preview in Copilot on September 4 and I wrote it up on September 17. You pick HydraFusion the way you used to pick Claude or GPT. Copilot then chooses one path: a single model, a cheaper first pass that can escalate, or a draft that a second model may review without writing to the repo. GitHub's three tests put estimated cost 36 percent to 67 percent under Opus 5. Quality moved a few points either way. You still pay the token rate for every model it called.
That is a buying question a software team already has on paper. Which work may use a frontier model. Who pays when a second model is called. HydraFusion is that list running inside a product millions of developers already open.

The test environment had internet. A security story with a named model and a concrete breach of the sandbox still finished at one quarter of HydraFusion.
2) US Energy Department Wants a Useful Quantum Computer by 2028 (168) — the Energy Department published a quantum roadmap on September 17. It wants a machine that can answer a science question a classical computer cannot, with a date attached. Awareness is still catching up to the deadline.
3) Ellison Leaves Oracle Earnings Calls as Magouyrk and Sicilia Run the Stage (145) — last week's recap had this post at 38 after one day. A week later it sits fourth. Clay Magouyrk and Mike Sicilia have held the chief executive seats since September 22, 2025. The public face changed. The company kept moving.
4) OpenAI Ties Astra's Rollout to Its Own Danger Score (103) — last week this sat at 52. Astra scored 100 percent on ExploitBench against 78.5 percent for GPT-5.6 Sol and crossed the Critical threshold on OpenAI's Preparedness Framework first. Access follows the score.
5) Zoho Backs Rural Students Who Analyze Drought and Find Leaks (78) — the From the Ground Up showcase is a student project with a vote window, not a product launch. It held a middle slot against vendor news.
6) Lenovo Sells New Servers Without Moving Your Business Apps (73) — on September 16 Lenovo announced servers you can put under mail, finance, and SAP that already run on VMware or Hyper-V. A hypervisor swap is optional.

7) Amodei's Evaluator Desks Beat Everything Else on shashi.co This Week (67) — last week's recap stayed in this week's list. The desks still get clicks after the original post ages.
8) insightsoftware Names Lineos, Certent, and Simba for Finance, Equity, and Embedded Analytics (67) — the parent stays on the holding company. Finance, equity plans, and embedded analytics now have job names a buyer can find.
9) Cisco Scores a 3 Billion Parameter Model at 0.223 Finding Vulnerable Files (64) — Cisco's Antares-3B sits next to GPT-5.5 at 0.229 on the file hunt. After a project is cleaned, the small model still names files on most of them. A halt rule would halt clean code.
10) Calero Extends SaaS Management to Copilot, Claude, and Token Costs (60) — Calero put Copilot seats, Claude tokens, and Cursor usage on the same bill file it already keeps for software and telecom. Finance sees the meter before the invoice if the connectors are live.
11) Cloudflare Lets Sites Refuse Training Without Leaving Google (52) — Disallow AI Training keeps Googlebot, Bingbot, and Applebot on the index and turns training-only crawlers away. Block also drops search. Published September 18, so the count is two days old.
12) Dreamforce Puts the Salesforce User Ahead of the Admin Queue (46) — Dreamforce ran September 15 to 17. Voice to Form, AIforce into Claude and Slack, and Coworker in Lightning search move work to the person holding the record. The admin still owns objects and permissions. A recap written after the hall emptied did not draw like the Copilot preview.
13) MSP Puts Private 5G on the Airfield for Vehicles and Tram Cameras (43) — Minneapolis-St. Paul International put its own fifth-generation cellular network on the airfield for plows, tablets, tram cameras, and vehicles. A concrete site with radios still finished last.
Gemini on one day beat every original post except HydraFusion. Ellison and Astra, which looked small on September 14, kept accumulating. Dreamforce, Cloudflare, and the airport network are too new for a Saturday count to be the last word. I am leaving them where they sit.
