Hurray ! The Big B has started Blogging

image

Yesterday my wife told me that Amitabh Bachan (Wikipedia ,IMDB ) has a Blog http://blogs.bigadda.com/ab/ . All my blog readers may not have heard of Amitabh Bachan. He is a renowned actor in the Indian Sub-continent over 6ft tall and acted in over 170 movies. One of his nick names is "Big B". He hosted the Indian version of "Who wants to be a Millionaire" on Star TV.

I am thrilled that he has a blog and judging by the number of comments on his blog (233 to 726) he is having a great conversation with his fans and answering comments. A sampling of his responses to coments (http://blogs.bigadda.com/ab/2008/05/04/day-18/#comments):

Vikram Jit, I note your point on enemies reading the blog too and its subsequent repercussions. And BICHAR I am so glad that I can bring a smile to your face. Thank you.

JOY RANA, thank you for your frank confession that you are not my fan, but that you recognize me as a power to reckon with !! Hmm… Wait till you see the ‘power’ of Sarkar Raj !! And Nilesh Mishra, still questions my guest list for the marriage of Abhi-Ash. Dude ! Its over now, a year has gone by, those that should have been there were there. Matter over, move on !

ZINEB, I love you too !

And NOBAB MUNNA from Chittagong, Bangladesh, kaymon accho !!

AVINASH, is cynical still on my land matter. You do not have to. Let the judgement come, I shall spend an entire chapter on it for you. Promise !!

VINITA DESHMUKH is upset. She enjoyed watching the Charles-Diana wedding and is furious that we did not allow the media access to Abhi-Ash wedding for her viewing pleasure.

I like Amitabh Bachan and had the privilege of meeting him in Moscow where I worked for a Indian restaurant and he came to dine there and took pictures with us. He is a great actor and a fun person to meet. Someday I hope I can have him to a local blogger met :) ( You never know )
