When I started my job as the Social Media Swami at Network Solutions. Searching Twitter was one of the first channels I used. Connie Bensen posted an article on Solutionsarepower.com on how Network Solutions uses Social Media to better serve our customers
I like the site m.slandr.net. Even though its mainly for mobile devices I use it on a PC too because it combines all the functionality of twitter and also gives you local tweets, search functionality and much more. Check that out too. On a phone you do not have to download any software but just a browser.
