Frankly I think Google was late to the podcast game. I have been a Android user for ever and Google did not have a Google native app for podcasts till recently. They also recently announced that when searching for a term in Google Podcasts, you'll see an Episode results section that shows a handful of individual episodes matching your search terms.
Can the podcast results in regular search results be far behind?
